Her 17 saves, several on acrobatic stops on point-blank attempts, were for not in a 9-4 loss to the Falcons at the PCC Aquatic Center. PCC dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in conference.In the third quarter, De Young made seven of her saves while the Lancers scored on their only attempt, a breakaway goal by Ellie White off a long lead pass by De Young. Cerritos led only 5-2 going into the fourth period. The Falcons broke through for four goals in the fourth quarter to complete their victory. De Young added three steals as she posted a PCC career high in saves in a match and became the fourth goalie in school history to reach at least 17 stops in a game.Other Lancers goal scorers were Zuri Pulido, Christy Lam and Jasmine Abriel. For Cerritos (8-3, 2-0), Isabella Sierra and Vanessa Hinojosa scored three goals a piece. Cerritos outshot the Lancers by a 30-11 count.PCC next hosts Mt.
